The poll being used by the LA Times is interesting. Not necessarily accurate, but it is a tracking poll. They have a group of 3000 people and about once a week update people’s answers, so you see trends, even if the absolute numbers aren’t precise. It isn’t a “push pull” and doesn’t ask people to defend their choice.
The LA Times is owned by what used to be the publishing part of Tribune Corporation, based in Chicago. The Chicago Tribune was the “conservative” newspaper in Chicago in contrast with the liberal Sun-Times, but that’s all relative.
Trump crossed ahead of Hillary in the tracking poll. This weekend, he is making nice to the Latino community. What can we see from the details in the tracking poll?
There is little variation by age. Over 65 people are slightly more likely to vote for Trump. If you have a college degree, Hillary is your man.
Trump just got a spike up in the black vote – 13.6%. It’s not 95%, but it is something. Interesting 25.4% of blacks think Trump will win. Poor people are much more likely to vote for Hillary in order to stay poor and not have to deal with that get a job crap.
If you look at a map, you’ll see why using a plane was necessary.
Capeair does offer nonstop service for $79 flying in a Cessna. The flight lasts 20 minutes.
