Plane carrying Russian military band crashes – 92 dead

Russian military plane crashes in Black Sea, killing 92

“I think there is no doubt that when any foreign government tries to impact the integrity of our elections … we need to take action,” Obama said. “And we will – at a time and place of our own choosing.

“Some of it may be explicit and publicised; some of it may not be.”

Even if the United States and our NATO ally Turkey had nothing to do with the crash, the President’s threat laid the foundation for war.

Looks like the thoughts that Obama wants to stir up hate and discontent everywhere before he steps down aren’t far off the mark. If he ordered that attack, he should be arrested and deported.

Don’t worry – the department of official US government disinformation is now active and funded

this is so bad Fred, This is like Joe Goebbels on steroids, a minster of propaganda !
“Late on Friday, with the US population embracing the upcoming holidays and oblivious of most news emerging from the administration, Obo signed into law the 2017 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) which authorizes $611 billion for the military in 2017.”Double down on stupidity.
” Including the “Countering Disinformation and Propaganda Act” passed in the Senate, quietly inserted inside the 2017 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) Conference Report.
And now, following Friday’s Obama signing of the NDAA on Friday evening, the Countering Disinformation and Propaganda Act is now law.” BAD !
who decides its fake news? I decide, ( for me) I don’t need some dum-ass is Washington deciding for me!
“a bill that further chips away at press liberties in the US, and which sets the stage for future which hunts and website shutdowns, purely as a result of an accusation that any one media outlet or site is considered as a source of “disinformation and propaganda” and is shut down by the government.”
This is BS don’t need it don’t want it. True Carp !

Totally unrelated, the Pentagon and CIA’s favorite newspaper used to leak fake news – the Washington Post – says it will make a profit this year, and plans to hire 60 more staff

The airport location – the plane crashed into the Black Sea two minutes after takeoff, about a mile from the coastline. The blue road marker that says M27 is at the border with the Republic of Georgia

There was a prior incident where Russia accidentally shot down their own plane. So far, the response suggests they know the reason it crashed.

  3. Fred Stiening says:

The TU-154 had landed in Sochi for refueling. Moscow to Sochi is about 850 miles, and the plane has a range of 3,200 miles. Sochi to Syria is about 500 more miles, if Turkey allowed the plane to overfly their territory.

Yeah I hate that. I saw on another message board that the Russians equate this ‘choir’ as to something like we had with Bob Hope and his tours in Vietnam.
If Bob’s plane had been shot down there would have been hell to pay.
I read some of the postings on RT news. Their is a lot of people in europe that don’t like that we are on the wrong side in syria. They blame obo and Madelin albright and Al-Nusiri.
Thats a bad group right there.
Man, Trump has his work cut out for him. Makes the Border fence/wall with mexico seem small potato’s.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas. Spaceman was live saturday night christmas eve. Dogs are not allowed in Saudi Arabia. I wouldn’t go there either

RT is going to explode in viewership is my prediction

Glenn Miller is a closer example, or Buddy Holly.

Reading up on the plane type, it was a Soviet era design loosely based on the Boeing 727. It was designed to fly domestically within Russia on unimproved air fields, so had very robust landing gear. Different versions of the plane had some improvements made. Russia removed the last of them from commercial service in 2011 as they are noisy, inefficient and increasingly unsafe.

The plane requires a crew of four in the cockpit. A common theme of the crashes is the plane is very unstable if it is not balanced on the centerline. Fuel has to be pumped between the wings to keep the plane Level, and handling that wrong or turning the pump off by accident can cause the plane to crash when the engines stop running.

My pet theory is they had a piano in the hold and it broke loose and shifted.

The 737-200 is the only remaining jet in the West that can do rough airfield landings, and they are getting old…… http://www.fcm.ca/home/issues/northern-and-remote/northern-and-remote-airports.htm

Yes, in the early 90’s they moved to Metro, and have had pretty stagnant service in Detroit. They did add Baltimore and have toyed with Orlando. ProAir was a temporary replacement at City. It remains a popular general aviation airport for private jets. Both the neighborhood and the airport are more decrepit than ever. They never moved the graveyard to do the runway expansion.+
