Lighting the fuse…

Dearborn, Michigan

I’m really confused by this story.   Terry Jones is the guy who burned a Quran in South Carolina, and he has now shown up at Dearborn, Michigan – home of one of the largest Arab communities in the United States (many not Muslim)

So the police arrested him for Breach of Peace – before anything had actually happened – because the city had denied him a permit because they were afraid a muslim might do something violent.  The judge set bail at $1, which they refused to pay.   So a “jury” in Dearborn immediately heard the case, and decided he was guilty.

This is Wayne County, Michigan – home to Detroit…. a county that doesn’t have money to provide basic services – yet somehow managed to have a trial and put together a jury in a few days.

The Ministry of Pre-Crime, in Detroit, MI… a bit late aren’t they?

I’d like to see the make up of the jury; something tells me they are not his ‘peers’.

Even worse than that – he is accused of potentially being a victim of crime in the future.

Based on this, the jury of the Rodney King trial (in Simi Valley) should have been locked in jail for acquitting the police of the beating, which then resulted in riots.

From a purely practical standpoint, he should have been granted his permit.

Over 25% of Detroit needs to be razed, but the city cannot afford to do it… so a few well-placed riots might be just the ticket! It’s fast, effective, and free.

Simply issue his protest permits for the ‘appropriate’ areas in Detroit, and publicize it.

This is pretty scary actually. Just the fact that he was arrested and then convicted by a jury, before anything even happened is unbelievable…

The Minority Report style of law here is very scary, and goes along with today’s climate of political correctness run amok.
That said, protesting a mosque in Dearborn, Mich, is akin to having a Klan rally on Crenshaw Blvd. in South Central.

Indeed… it’s the embodiment of INGSOC, including a jury practicing the group-think concept of crimestop(i.e. Orwell’s ‘1984’) to the pastor’s thoughtcrime.

Even more disturbing, the prosecuting attorney (a D.A. ?) had requested that bail be raised to $45,000 instead of the $1 ‘Peace’ bond. Show up for a permit, get arrested?

I want to ask this judge, jury, prosecutor, and the media: whom are they ‘protecting’? It’s time for Muslims in the U.S. to prove they have assimilated and respect our laws.
