Streaming Alert Hurricane Warnings in effect
The National Weather Service has issued Hurricane warnings for the coast of North Carolina (Tonight - Thursday), and the Cape Cod area of Massachusetts Friday afternoon/evening. The path has generally been drifting to the West, closer to land.
The coast from NC to Massachusetts (including Eastern Long Island) is under a Tropical Storm Warning.
Don't ignore the lessons of Hurricane Katrina. This is the time to do what you need to do. While a direct hit is not expected, flooding and power outages are very likely.
