Great show as it's not always about politics. Includes a lot of frank social commentary and he presents economics in an easy to understand and non-boring manner. Also fun as he throws in odd facts and plays jokes on some of the callers just to keep people fact checking him.

Great Show! I don't know why Neal Bortz's show is so underrated. It's more insightful than the other two top shows. I like the Bortz show because he's the hardest working talk show host-3 1/2 hours a day!

An enjoyable show to listen to with interesting facts that are easily checked out for factual content. Makes you think and will go head to head with any liberal on most any topic other than abortion which personally I feel if your cant get pregnant your opinion means very little. If men were the ones who gave birth the population would of been extinct a long time ago. He is a supporter of the fair tax and has spent hours explaining it, co wrote a book on it along with other books explaining his opinions with facts to back up the reasons for his opinions. His web site has the days show notes which are posted before he goes on air, he seeks out stories that unless you spend a whole lot of time online you would probably never see. He is actually a libertarian , believing in personal responsibility and accountability. He takes those that disagree with him first when they call and lets them have their say and then explains his views, unless the caller starts name calling he is very patient. You should listen to him, I pull up his show online every day on wsb am 750 atlanta broadcast which is his home station because it starts an hour and a half before it does locally in nc. I have listened to Neil Boortz for at least 15yrs and started listening to him when I lived in Georgia, he normally keeps the local stuff during the time that most other stations are not running the syndicated shows as to not bore those who do not live in Georgia. I like to listen to whats going on in Atlanta myself since I spent most of my life living in that area. This is my opinion of him and his show and I definately feel strongly that the show is worth listening to so much that I do turn it on every morning at 830 am online to listen and generally listen till 1pm when the show ends. I also enjoy listening to Jamie Dupree the washington news man who comes on usually in the noon till 1pm hour where they go over whats going on in washington dc. Definatly keeps my brain working, the show is not hateful unless you consider personal responsibility hate speach. He is also a great supporter of several charities and as a private piliot does do Angel flights, was first in line to give money to build a handicap ramp for a police officer injured in the line of duty in Atlanta back several years ago when the insurance company for the police refused to help her, he gave money and ralied support for her to make sure it will be built. He respects and support our military, he respects and supports the constitution of the United States and gives great arguements for legalizing drugs and ending the drug war. He supports everyone right to live their life in away that makes them happy so long as it doesnt take away anyone elses rights to life or liberty.

Neal Boortz tells how the liberals want the government involved too much in the everyday lives of Americans. He will also criticize some things the religious right says or does that is way out, which lets me know he is not trying to always appease the conservative wing.

Neal Boortz tells the harsh painful truth about politics and government. His support for the Fairtax shows how much he cares about this country. The entertainment value is high also because he is very funny and tells jokes from time to time. The Neal Boortz Show is the best talk show on radio.

I love the fact that he's not trying to present himself as something he's not. Many of the topics he brings up are set out there to make you think, and he's one of the few hosts that tell you not to take his word as the end all say all truth. Get out there, look it up your self.

Used to really enjoy his style ... but got weary of listening to his prejudice against those of faith. Boortz too often results to pubescent arguments regarding important moral issues. The true Libertarian would consider the right of an unborn child. I respect his viewpoint; even so, he should respect others' strong convictions about the rights of those they aren't able to defend themselves.

Interesting man. Great radio show. I wish that my local market would pick him up again. Thank God for the Internet and streaming radio! It was Neal that helped me find Libertarianism. The Neal Boortz show has been a revelation in my life. In my market his show airs from 8p - 10p; I have found his show so informative and entertaining that I have cancelled my cable TV subscription. Who needs TV when you have the most entertaining program right there on your radio? I listen to Rush and Sean occasionally, but Boortz is so much less obnoxious. My only complaint has more to do with the format than the content; too many commercials. The host has forced me to reconsider many of of long-held beliefs. I do not agree with everything he says (if you do you might have a problem), but his arguments are well-researched and convincing. The show does not stand strictly on the radio broadcast; the show's Program Notes (available on the Boortz website) are "homework" and without them you may be missing some of the best bits. I consider listening to the show the highlight of my day and recommend it to everyone interested in politics and who has libertarian leanings.

Thought provoking comments whether I believe his opinions on topics or not. he is very entertaining. I like listening to him more than Rush and Hannity. He has a different point of view and perspective on politics and he makes me think. I don't know what else I can say, he is my favorite radio talk show host and he has the voice of reason. If I don't listen to him one day, I feel as if I am missing out on something. He brings up current topics, can show both sides of a debate and knows what he is talking about.

I really like to listen to Boortz and think his show is one of the few worth listening to on the radio, but I do have a few suggestions that would make it even better. I understand that he is passionate about the war against Islamo-fascism and stopping the illegal alien invasion , but I would like to hear less talk about those things and more from the social libertarian in him. I want to hear him talk about how the "war on drugs" is an absolute fiasco which does far more damage than good and is a complete waste of the taxpayers' money. I want to hear him talk about how insane it is that we allow big brother FCC to use de-facto censorship to regulate nudity, sex, and "naughty" words on television and radio. I want to hear him talk about how prostitution should be 100% legal in all 50 states. I want to hear him talk about how consenting adults should be able to to anything they please to their own bodies. I want to hear him trash the "anti-choice" fundamentalists and those who want to teach "creationism" in government schools. I want to hear him standing up for gay rights and acceptance, and putting these knuckle-dragging homophobes in their place by exposing the fact that they are probably in the closet themselves. He does talk about all of these things occasionally, but not often enough. I want to hear less about Iraq and less about illegal invaders and more about these other things. Having said all of this, Neal Boortz is still smarter and better to listen to than Rush, O'Reilly, Ingraham, Savage, Hannity, Lionel, and all of the Air America socialists put together.

I used to listen to Neil Boortz everyday. But, because of his excessive usage of sarcasm and ridicule of values, I have almost entirely quit listening to him. I do appreciate his discussion of the Fair Tax and the war on terror. However, his intellectually dishonest approach to Judeo-Christian values makes for poor talk radio.

Neal gets it right most of the time. Instead of either a liberal or conservative hard line, he beats up on both when they are wrong (usually when they think with their emotions). Neal instead relies on common sense and not irrational and unsubstantiated fears.

I do not know that my rating is exceptonal. If Mr. Boortz was not interesting and well informed I would not spend so much time listening to him. I agree with about 60 to 70 percent of his opinions and some times have to rethink the ones I do not agree with . Mr. Boortz has been the only libertarian viewpoint on the radio for many years and is far more entertaining than Rush or Sean. I also enjoy hearing Royals' and Belindas' comments and opinions . On some subjects Neal resorts to emotional attacks rather than reason but that is a small distraction from the overall content of the show and can be easily ignored.

Great on taxes, good on immigration (however, if I remember correctly, he was a big time open borders advocate before 911). My main complaint is that, like almost every self-identifying Libertarian I've ever encountered, he has a vastly inflated opinion of his own intellectual prowess. His thinking is frequently muddled, and he consistently lapses into inconsistencies. Furthermore, he seems veritably to delight in revealing his gross igorance of science and religion.

The first time Neil says "Fair Tax", I change the channel - which meant I rarely listened to him more than 5 minutes a day. Fair Tax is a bad idea, it's never going to happen - give it up. Neal may claim to be a libertarian but longterm listeners would have to agree that he is a neo-conservative who savages Democrats far more than he does Republicans --- despite that after five years of Republican misrule, he should know by now which party is the real enemy of the American middle class.
