| There is a reason he is not on more than a handful of stations. If he is intelligent someone somewhere changed the definition of intelligent and forgot to tell the rest of us. He is a bore and uninteresting, even if i don't agree with someone, please give me a reason to listen, try being interesting... | Al appeals to a vast audience of progressive listeners. The only comments I have read or heard anout Franke nseem to attack not with any substance, but with contempt for his success in getting out the word of sensibility, and not hatred. | ||||||

| Thankfully, there are other liberal talk shows with more intelligent hosts. Franken is blindly partisan, too often relies on conspiracy nuts, knows nothing of foreign policy beyond superficial trivia and seems to only be interested mindlessly bashing Bush. | ||||||

| Really pretty bad, obviously a man who has been told he is funny and talented. I remember some mild laughter from him back in the SNL days and I think he should have stayed with that. Comes across as bitter and uneducated, not to mention purely uninteresting on the radio. He would probably do better on TV, just can’t cut it on radio where you have to know your facts. | ||||||

| Overall, the show was probably the worst show I have ever heard. The entire time I listened (I could not bear any more than 2 hours) he seemed to be enraged with America. Maybe it's just that I happen to love the country I live in, but I found it less than intriguing to hear him blame America for the problems of the world, blame the rich for the failures of the poor, and resorts to incredibly rude comments when he is confronted with a caller/guest who disagrees with him. | Mr. Franken, sided by the agenda-moving Catherine (sp?), is an excellent example of the classic Liberal position on matters of law and society. His humour is rather edgy, and I appreciate his restraint in the use of expletives, although he could clean up his language a little. (Some of my friends disagree with the last remark, and of course their language is commonly more colored than mine.) His honesty and passion are hallmarks of the show. | ||||||
