	Air America management was stupid to push Randi away; she is my favorite talk show host, and I know other people who go out of their way to listen to her. I've paid good money to listen to Air America on satellite radio (Sirius and then switched to XM when Sirius dropped it). I'm losing my incentive to listen to Air America, and I'm not sure I'll keep paying for satellite radio if I can't get my favorite programming there anymore.

	Randi Rhodes is one of the most entertaining progressive radio hosts currently working the airwaves. A fine balance between comedy and worldwide issues. She's self-deprecating and willing to go after a right-wing water carrier with long knives. Isn't willing to compromise her beliefs, yet is more than happy to laugh and make fun of the everyday foibles we are all subject to. This is easily my favorite program. I do wish she would interview her guests for more than a segment, however, since they are often very interesting.

	As Air-America desperately tries to be more relevant, this show & others (notably Rachel Maddow )are just getting wackier & wackier. Any efforts to present reasonable arguments are defenestrated just to stay as out of touch as their presumed audience. I used to listen to these shows to hear reasonable proponents of views in opposition to my own, but now all that is offered is hateful statements about conservatives. Randi's little audio skits ( throughout we hear Randi's forced "laugh track" ) are the worst part of the show, as she inevietably follows up with some comment that they expose some obvious problem , but the only thing that is obvious is how far she would go to try to reestablish what little touch she has ever has with what is really going on in the country. "5" for entertainment value? what can I say, I like watching train crashes like Air America programming.

	I first heard this show several years ago, & it is getting worse as time goes by. The only callers that her " screener" accept are those who start out the call with "love you Randi", and when the occasional dissenting caller gets through, she is abusive. her trademark vituperative rants show her true attitudes , which are classic "hate america" talking points. It's great that the US is the kind of a country that will allow this garbage on the air, even though no one listens to it. Oh yes, isn't she the one who thought shooting Bush was a "funny" idea? Progressive?

Her "facts" would be 'blown out of the water' by dozens of personalities from the other side of the aisle, but that won't happen as she knows it and won't ever debate anyone that she'd lose to. 	One of the overlooked aspects of this show is the brilliant opening comedy skits produced by Bruce Cherry, et al. And, of course, Randi is a fearless crusader in pursuit of truth, justice and the American way!

	Randi lays out the sometimes complex issues in words that most ordinary folks can understand. She is not a "cookie cutter" commentator who only spews the "party line," but, rather, she offers well reasoned and well researched commentary. Her strong suit is the ability to connect present events to past events and to help her listeners "connect the dots" between seemingly unrelated stories. Her unflagging support for the military because of her own military experience goes against the progressive stereotype. She speaks plainly and with uncommon common sense.

	Randi is very informed and actually is a great teacher in current events. She is responsible for bringing a lot of Americans up on the important issures and educating us about the government and the media. I respect her opinions even though I sometimes think that she can be a little impatient with some of her callers and a little preachy about some of the issues that she feels strongly about. I listen to her every day. She is extremely intelligent and well read. Progressive radio and the public owes her a great deal for her service.

	The interesting thing about this show is that the host is a caricature of the angry, self righteous far left. The upside is that the host is so utterly unlikable, it would be doubtful that anybody would be persuaded by her wordy, circuitous arguements. The show reeks of hatefullness and intolerance, and displays no courtesy to anybody who would hold a differing opinion. Her "humerous" skits target not as much the political figures who she disagrees with, but more so the large, generalized groups who may support them to any degree , such as southerners, republicans, churchgoers, etc. This is the "How Not to Think" show of political radio.

	Looks like Randi herself wrote the last 2 reviews. Basically, she is a hate monger, blaming the Bush administration for all the worlds problems. If XM had any alternatives during her time slot, I would never expose myself to this rubbish. Her topic choices are OK, but her spin is dizzying. She seems to feel that everybody is entitled to an opinion, as long as it is hers. As for the last reviewer's comment "Right wingers are just so embarrassed that they actually re-elected a man....", this is the typical mindset of one of Rhandi's dozens of avid fans. They seem to be able to atribute motives to concepts that they do not understand, such as patriotism,religious faith, etc. I've also heard some right wing callers on her show, & she gives them no respect. At least Limbaugh,Ingraham, & even Hannity hear the callers out and try to have some debate about topics. Randee just slams them and makes fun of them. The only reason she has a job is because air america wants a loose cannon, somebody who who has no social conscience and will say anything that would support their extreme ideas, without regard to the facts.

	I enjoy listening to the show because Randi will bring up valid arguments in her discussions of the topics. She doesn't just CLAIM to know the facts, but presents you with information that she dares you to find false. She will even go as far as give you where she gets her information. She encourages people to find out if information is real fact or just spin, talking points or used for political gain. Her main point is be informed don't just believe everything your told. When she is wrong (proven to be) she will admit it, and ask where that person got there information so she can be just as informed. You gotta love it!

	Sounds like a lot of right-wingers hate women or something. One reviewer said she hates our military. She SERVED, which is more than one can say for Bush or Cheney. One reviewer says she doesn't take calls from anyone who doesn't share her viewpoint. In the past few days listening at random points, I've heard THREE right wingers on her phone line. I've heard more in the past. One reviewer wrote that she is "anti-war". Do you know anyone who WANTS WAR? What a ridiculous thing to even write. One reviewer said she's just anti-every move the Bush administration makes. Huh. That must be why Republicans running for offices are trying to distance themselves from the White House as I write: Beause an ever-increasing amount of them are disillusioned with these war-mongering profiteers. Randi knows that this administration hell bent on screwing the world up are not even TRUE republicans, and she's absolutely right. Randi is far more prepared and honest and far less hypocritcal than someone like Rush Limbaugh. Right wingers are just so embarrassed that they actually re-elected a man who would love nothing better than to start a "nuke-ular" war that, to save face, they'll continue to support this joke of a White House and whine about anyone who's against it rather than admit they got hosed by their "leader". Randi knows that.

	The only value to this show is that it demonstrates the furthest extent a left-winger can reach. Every one of her arguments and opinions are based upon being the opposite of the current administration. 	Randi is someone who makes me feel like there is hope that things will be ok again. I hear about things that I had no idea was going on. I also understand issues much better after she goes over them on her show. Her memory for current affairs and history is amazing. I rarely miss her show.

	I have never heard a show where the host is more knowledgeable and amazingly prepared. What she does on the air she clearly lives, breaths and studies in the rest of her waking hours. Whether you personally agree with her is not the point. She is brilliant, factual, passionate and honest. She can at times go too far on a line of thinking ...but at least she is thinking and speaking from a good heart.
