In 2003, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) established the National Do Not Call Registry, which requires telemarketers to do a number of things to deter fraud, and to protect the privacy of people who enter their phone numbers in the Do Not Call Registry.

What is your opinion of the Do Not Call Registry?

Choose all that apply
I don't want the government to do anything that I can do myself by hanging up
It's one of the few laws that has actually improved my life
Charities are okay but it should include politicians.
It's a violation of the First Amendment rights of the telemarketers
It should be a state issue not a federal one
It doesn't go far enough - it should include politicians and charities
It's none of the Federal Government's business
This law is not enforced.
Cell phones make this law no longer matter
Telemarketers are the only people who ever call me
I would pay a fee to a company to get them to stop calling
It's the best law the government ever passed
It would be great if the law had any teeth.
It's usless for an" Unknown" on Caller ID
I chose not to put my number in the list
You're trying to trap me, aren't you?
I don't have an opinion
I've never heard of this law
