Why do women wear lipstick?

To keep their lips from falling off (i.e., lip stick).
To communicate to men that 'I'm not a lesbian'
To reduce friction
To keep her lips moist
So other women will stop telling them they need to
Men can wear lipstick too!

I'm not a woman, so I don't care.
