You're a police officer driving down a rural road in the middle of nowhere in Texas in the middle of the afternoon. You drive past a man and a child who is probably the man's son. The man has a military style rifle slung across his chest. He has a backpack and is wearing a head scarf. There is no vehicle in sight.

In Texas, it is legal to carry a loaded rifle in public as long as it is not being carried in a way designed to alarm other people. There is no requirement to register to own or carry a gun.

What do you do?

Ask him if everything is okay
Check my cell phone for the nearest donut shop
Wonder why someone wasted my time calling 911
Wave and drive on by
Tell the man he's walking on the wrong side of the highway
Tell him you're taking his gun because you scared someone
Wonder if he has a conceal carry permit for the gun strapped to his leg
Measure the distance to the nearest school just in case
Compare notes on rifles
Thank God I live in Texas
Pull over and demand he give me the scary gun
Thank God for the 2nd Amendment
Ask to see his hunting license
Thank God I no longer work for the Chicago Police Dept
Offer him a ride to the police station
Arrest him for disorderly conduct
