HDRadio.com offers an iOS app to let you find those secret HD radio stations, along with information for those Luddites who have ignored the HD radio ads for a decade.

I’m in North Carolina, and Everyone in North Careolina Loves Sports! I decline letting it GPS track me – this app is a national search, after all! So I enable a filter by Sports and click on NOrth Carolina, and this is what I get:

Instead of listing the 4 or 5 sports stations in North Carolina, it gave me a list of every small town in North Carolina, even those that have no radio station. Scrolling is not intuitive, and if you switch away from the app and come back, the app is DOA.

I’ve heard there is a great sports network in New England that carries Boston Red Sox Games. Since Breast Cancer awareness month is not over yet, maybe I can catch the World Series. I don’t know the call sign [weei]… How can I find what I’m looking for? I have no idea where the station is – Boston? New York? Maine? New Hampshire?

To do a national search, the only option is to enter a zip code. Anyone know a zip code for Kennebunkport Maine?
