Polls arrived today for Connecticut. Once again Trump or Cruz will lose to either Hillary or Bernie. Kasich will beat either Democrat in November.<\/p>\n
While Connecticut is a relatively small state, it was one in the “could go either way” pile – Obama got only 58% in 2012, less than the 60% “safe” cutoff. The margins in the polls are well beyond the Margin of Error. Unless something changes, Connecticut goes Democratic unless Kasich is the Republican nominee.<\/p>\n
That pushes Bernie Sanders over the finish line<\/strong> winning the electoral “college” vote – if the Republicans nominate Trump; and inches away from Hillary being over the finish line. Of course, the Democrats are unlikely to nominate Sanders. I can’t imagine the billionaires that own the Democratic Party accepting hippy wife Jane Sanders as the First Lady.<\/p>\n It is worth noting that the Democrats appear weak vs Kasich in part because pollsters stopped polling X vs Kasich. Without a poll, the estimate follows safe\/not safe.
