If the name sounds familiar, he is the CEO of Newsmax. <\/p>\n In the emails, Ruddy is asking to be put in contact with State Department people in Panama, concerning the $50 million estate of Wilson Lucom. Lucom died in 2006 at age 88 in Panama and left most of his estate to a foundation for poor children, rather than his widow. Hilda Piza de Arias was his second wife – they married in 1982 after his first wife died. Hilda is a member of a highly influential aristocratic family tightly embedded in the Government of Panama. She originally married Gilberto Arias, the Finanace Mini$ter of Panama and they had 5 children. Arias was the son of Harmodio Arias, who was President of Panama in the 1930s. He was forced out in 1958 from his position as finance minister News Coverage<\/a>. One of the Arias children was recently the Panamanian Ambassador to the UK and is now active in the Climate Change movement.<\/p>\n Lucom was a Conservative activist – he helped found Accuracy in Media. AIM was created by Reed Irvine in 1969 while Irvine was working for the Federal Reserve as an economist. This Right Web Profile<\/a> Leaves very little doubt in my mind that Irvine was a CIA asset. After buying some CBS stock, Irvine made the symbolic gesture of nominating Lucom<\/a> to be on the CBS board of directors. Lucom and Irvine worked together in an organization that funded the Washington Inquirer.<\/p>\n So why did Chris Ruddy care enough about Lucom to open his checkbook to donate to Hillary’s Pay for Play scheme? At the time of Lucom’s death from cancer, Ruddy owed Lucom in excess of $1 million<\/a>, and was named as co executor of Lucom’s estate and beneficiary, from a will written a year before his death. Lucom was a regular columnist for Newsmax prior to his death. Example<\/a> Ruddy had power of attorney for Lucom if Lucom became unable to handle his affairs. Ruddy and the lawyer who created the will named themselves as the trustee of the charity that would use Lucom’s estate to buy seeds to give to poor children so they could grow food.
