I had been searching for the name of the Rexall Drug Store where my brother Kirby Stiening had been a clerk, when I stumbled on this obscure book. I knew within a couple paragraphs that I had to get the book.<\/p>\n
I did not know who the author was or why he wrote the book, I just knew he was a good writer and every sentence dripped with anecdotes and real people and places where I grew up.<\/p>\n
Mr Smith is currently 75 years old. It turns out from his description of the house he grew up in that he must have lived no more than a few houses away from where I grew up, albeit a 14 year difference in our ages.<\/p>\n
Raymond W Smith was formerly the CEO of Verizon and (as of 2011) is the chairman of Rothschild, Inc, the banking conglomerate that rules the world.<\/p>\n
