{"id":18364,"date":"2017-03-04T13:03:31","date_gmt":"2017-03-04T18:03:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/streamingradioguide.com\/startingover\/?p=18364"},"modified":"2017-03-04T13:04:35","modified_gmt":"2017-03-04T18:04:35","slug":"charles-murray-attacked-at-middlebury-college","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/streamingradioguide.com\/startingover\/?p=18364","title":{"rendered":"Charles Murray attacked at Middlebury College"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Charles Murray, author of the book <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Bell-Curve-Intelligence-Structure-Paperbacks\/dp\/0684824299\">Bell Curve<\/a>, which dared to ask the unaskable question of whether intelligence is predicative of success, and a person&#8217;s intelligence is largely a result of a person&#8217;s DNA.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2017\/03\/03\/us\/middlebury-college-charles-murray-bell-curve-protest.html\">NY Times<\/a><\/p>\n<p>He is used to being protested at Universities by people who haven&#8217;t actually read the book (I have a copy on my bookshelf and read the entire thing), but in this case the physical intimidation continued outside the venue, and one college professor was injured.<\/p>\n<p>The irony here is that Vermont is the second whitest state of the United States (only following Montana).  Even their basketball team is largely white.
