In a completely unexpected turn, the “rebel” fighters in Western Libya are being pushed aside by troops backed by Qatar (the home of Al Jazeera)…\u00a0 the rebels are showing signs of potential to fragment around traditional tribal lines, and not “taking orders” from Benghazi.\u00a0\u00a0 This is what Qaddafi has known all along.<\/p>\n

In a “fair” national election, the people in Benghazi make up only 1 million of a population of 6-8 million, depending on how you count.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 If it is truly a “democratic” movement and everyone in the country is allowed to run for office, the people who want to reinstall the British created “monarchy” of Benghazi will lose in a major way.<\/p>\n
