Without CDS protection, the government bond market for less credit worthy countries will vaporize.<\/p>\n<p>The saying &#8220;Don&#8217;t shoot the messenger&#8221; is important. Tyrants often evolve to the point where they will kill the bearer of bad news (literally or figuratively).
