The quote above was supposedly from Barack Obama’s white girlfriend when he was a young man\u00a0after they came out of a theater\u00a0– one of the many racial things\u00a0that were formative to Barack Obama’s life as told in the work of fiction called “Dreams\u00a0from my father”.<\/p>\n
Someone finally got around to tracking down this girlfriend, who denies that this event ever happened – and when confronted with that, the President of the United States admits it wasn’t true – it was a composite of several different white girlfriends he had (or just something Bill Ayers made up while writing Barack Obama’s autobiography).<\/p>\n
The typical take on “right wing” talk radio about this went in two directions – how Barack Obama just makes up stories about his life that weren’t true (like\u00a0his mother decided to get pregnant\u00a0 in response to the uprising in Selma Alabama that wouldn’t occur until 3 years after he was born – echos of Hillary Clinton saying she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary) or contrasting how little “the media” is curious about finding the truth of the life of Barack Obama while searching for every tiny thing they can about Mitt Romney, even going to the point of making things up that they wish are true and reporting them as fact.<\/p>\n
John Derbyshire has an entirely different take and I think he’s exactly correct based on what we know and my own experiences.\u00a0 In his 20s, he knew he was going to be in politics and do something big (his KGB handler told him that!)…\u00a0 In order to be credible in the Black Communisty, you can’t have a white wife – period.\u00a0\u00a0 Most of the reason OJ Simpson got off was not because of the police (although that was a good excuse), but anger by the black women on the jury that OJ’s wife was white and deserved what happened to her.\u00a0 [this is my point, not Derbyshire’s].\u00a0\u00a0 Much of the outrage directed at Clarence Thomas from the Black Communisty\u00a0was not\u00a0only his politics but his white wife.<\/p>\n
So allow me to spin a possible conversation that is more likely than what Barack’s book said, following the theme laid down by Mr Derbyshire<\/p>\n

\nShe:\u00a0 I love you.
\nBarack:\u00a0 I know that
\nShe: [you were supposed to say I love you back]\u00a0 So where is this thing going?
\nBarack:\u00a0 What thing is that?
\nShe:\u00a0 You know…. us…\u00a0\u00a0 I love you, but I’m not sure where our relationship is headed
\nBarack:\u00a0 I see…\u00a0 well where do you want it to go?
\nShe:\u00a0 I don’t know…. Can you see a possibility that we’ll get married some day and have a family?\u00a0 I would really hope that might be possible. [so I can cancel my appointment at Planned Parenthood]
\nBarack:\u00a0 No, that’s not possible.\u00a0 You know that I have plans to become a leader in the black community and they’ll never accept me having a white wife
\nShe:\u00a0 Oh, I see.\u00a0\u00a0 I’m glad you told me that.\u00a0\u00a0 I wish I could be black, but I can’t be.\u00a0\u00a0 if that’s how you see your future, then I guess you don’t see me as part of that future.

I’m pretty sure the following\u00a0happened to me in real life, but it may well have been from TV or a movie – the human memory isn’t as reliable as we want to think, but I’m sure it has happened as much as Barack Obama’s story is true…\u00a0 it goes like this:<\/p>\n
