Glenn Beck mentioned Jesse Ventura had filed a lawsuit against Chris Kyle, the SEAL sniper who was shot in the Texas gun range. Ron Paul said over the weekend that Kyle deserved it more or less. That’s entirely consistent with Ron Paul’s libertarian beliefs that US National Interest ends at the US border and we have no reason to be involved in Iraq or Afghanistan – and a massive cut should be made to the military budget and stop these projections of American force by invading countries and killing people, then calling the people who live there trying to oppose us as “terrorists”. I’m not saying if I’m agreeing with that – just that his rather insensitive statement is not a sudden change of position

It took a while for Glenn Beck’s research staff to realize that Ron Paul is a guest on Alex Jones and a 9/11 truther. I think Beck finally figured it out.

Glenn’s notion that since Kyle donated the proceeds of his book to charity means that Ventura shouldn’t have sued is specious. “I didn’t make money from doing” is not a defense against libel/slander – what matters is if the statements were untrue and the amount of damage it caused.

I wonder if Ventura has been booked yet on Howard Stern and Bubba the Love Sponge.

Glenn Beck mentioned Jesse Ventura had filed a lawsuit against Chris Kyle, the SEAL sniper who was shot in the Texas gun range.
