This morning I got an email telling me there was a function online, and it actually works (mostly) and is more close to what people expected. It has three steps:
\n– see if you qualify for a subsidy
\n– given where are located, which plans are available and what is the total cost (without the subsidy)
\n– apply for coverage.<\/p>\n
The original web site was backward, maybe because it was built for Canada where apply for coverage is the only step. The web site was forcing people to give up all their personal data and qualify before they could see any quotes.<\/p>\n
Now the web site is offering up quotes for Blue Cross\/Shield as well as Coventry One. It is somewhat misleading as its only age choices are Under 50 and 50+ – so the results are fake cheeze, but at least more than a blank page.<\/p>\n
