I just turned on the new(?) WordPress Anti Spam tool, and turned off the requirement that you be registered to post a message. I know every obstacle put in the way reduces the chance people will give feedback.
We’ll see if it works for a few days, and adjust it from there.
It seems to be letting my posts through, even without giving an email address.
Be aware that if you put a URL inside a comment, that automatically will cause it to be “held” until I can look at it.

Akismet and Bad Behavior should be the only spam tools you need. I would also suggest adding a comments subscription plugin.
Thanks for turning the comments on; I had read some previous posts that I would’ve liked to comment on, but required registration is the same as saying “I don’t want any other opinions.”
