Today, one of the pundits of the radio business mentions that Karel (formerly of KGO) has landed a new job. Acccording to the description today, he was fired from KGO for “using x rated words” that accidentally got on the air.
That is not true.
What went out over the air accidentally was Karel saying
“I want mother fucking Joe the Plumber DEAD.”
He advocated killing a person for his political beliefs – and for having the audacity to ask Candidate Obama a question from the driveway of his home as the candidate walked by and later campaigning for John McCain.
Karel’s attempt at damage control was to say he didn’t really mean killing a real person – he meant the “character” of Joe The Plumber.
