This message is only of interest to a handful of people, and is mostly to document this if you need it in the future. If you are an editor of the directory, this is for your information.
The list of HD2 and HD3 stations has been gathered once a month from the hdradio.com web site (and will be in the future). However, some radio stations have been adding HD2 or HD3 channels without being listed on the HDradio web site.
If you are editing an FM station and it doesn’t currently have an HD2 or HD3 stream, you’ll now see a link for +HD2 and +HD3. If you click on that link, you’ll create a new stream for that station, and the editor will switch to the newly created stream – so you can set the home page, stream, format, etc… to match the HD 2/3 streams information.
You’ll want to do this if you become aware that an FM station does have HD2 or HD3 channels, especially if they have a stream for the new channel.
