  • the move of Thom Hartmann from Air America to Dial Global,
  • Fox Radio brings back Spencer Hughes in John Gibson’s evening time slot
  • TRN offering replay of Michael Savage against “the golfer”, and many cascading changes…..  
  • Paul Harvey’s death will likely be used as an excuse to drop his program. 
  • Stations are still deciding what to do about the hole left by Randi Rhodes
  • Jason Lewis begins syndication on Premiere
  • Tom Lekyis gone…

Monday’s changes, and other recent things you may have missed (all times are local station time):

New York

WOR (New York) – Replaced O’Reilly (who was on tape delay from 8-10 PM) with Mike Smerconish
WROW (Albany, NY)  (Switched to Dennis Miller
WLVL (Lockport, NY) – Replaced O’Reilly with local programming (maybe replay of morning show?)

Pennsylvania

KDKA (Pittsburgh)  – Carried O’Reilly at 10 PM, replaced with Jim Bohannon Overnight
WGPA (Bethlehom) – 2-4PM – Fred Thompson
WPHT (Philly) – Dom Giordano starts earlier, but the station almost always has sports, so it doesn’t matter much
WILK (Wilkes Barre 4 station simulcast) – Dom Giordano (10pm-mid) – didn’t stream O’Reilly

California

KABC (LA) – Al Rantel is gone, replaced by an hour of DodgerTalk and former weekend host John Phillips (Al is out having hip surgery)
KTLK (LA) – Sticking with Nancy Skinner from On Second Thought Network
KSFO (San Francisco) – Still in flux filling the Lee Rogers morning slot – Monday evening John Batchelor show is missing from schedule now
KKGN (Oakland) – Replaced Rhodes with Peter B. Collins
KFMB (San Diego) – Carried (but didn’t stream) O’Reilly – 6-8 PM – no update
KSTE (Sacramento, CA) – Replacing O’Reilly with Jason Lewis‘s synidcated show
KVTA (Hueneme, CA) – O’Reilly affiliate that didn’t stream – playing filler music

KSKY (Dallas) – John Gibson added 1-3 AM, Mike Gallagher used to do a local morning show, which he has stopped,  Added FM simulcast on 92.9
KPRC (Houston) – Total revamp of schedule… Chris Baker will be phoning in a show from Minnesota, making it sound like he is in Houston, Joe Pags to mornings, 2 weekend guys now doing daytime shows, Walton & Johnson are history (on this station)
KTSA (San Antonio) – 10PM-Mid – Mark Levin
KROD (El Paso, TX) – Dave Ramsey replaces O’Reilly
KWBC (Navasota, TX) – Fred Thompson

Florida

WINZ (Miami) – switching soon from Progressive Talk to Sports
WWBA (Tampa/St Pete FL) – Replacing O’Reilly (Noon-2PM) with MICHAEL SAVAGE

    KKGN (Oakland/San Francisco) is carrying Peter B. Collins this week in the old Randy Rhodes slot. Frangela (two women) was (were) in that slot last week.

    97.1 FM talk in st. louis is adding 3 hours of Glenn Beck to replace the factor.

    Beck should air from 11am-2pm.

      KFTK is the station you are describing.

      KFTK requires a registration process that requires giving personally identifying information (real name, Phone#, Date of Birth, Email address) in order to listen to the stream – so it is not listed here.

    97.1 FM previously, had only one hour of Beck from 1pm-2pm.
