Educational Media Foundation is the first completed Radio Owner profile for a non-commercial religious broadcaster. EMF operates two Christian music networks – K-Love and Air1, and owns a large number of low power stations and translators in small towns. It’s entirely possible you have never heard of them, even though they are one of the largest broadcasters in the county (where “large” is defined as “has the most FCC licenses”)
EMF has been in the news recently, when the long time hosts of the K-Love morning show were suddenly gone from the air. This came several months after the man who had run EMF for over 20 years suddenly resigned without warning.
