Going Rogue is embargoed until next Tuesday, yet 6 people in the poll said they have read the book already and it was great! Is someone fibbing?

I had read the AP story already (I have a Google News feed on “Sarah Palin”)… what a bunch of nonsense. Pretty much of all of their “fact checking” was just describing political differences of opinion.
According to the AP, she says that most of the time she avoids staying in expensive hotels…. so they point out that she once stayed in a $700 a night hotel in New York City for a conference. That AP “fact” doesn’t contradict her statement.
I guess the AP thinks the rubes that follow Sarah Palin don’t know that in New York City, $300 a night will get you a fleabag dump miles away from your meetings…. That was the example they led with – it just went downhill from there.
Maybe the AP should spend more effort fact-checking the photoshopped pictures they buy from their stringer photographers from Hamas
When you have a monopoly on the commercially-supported news in this country, you can do or say whatever you want. The AP knows this and abuses it.
You touch on a good question – how did AP avoid antitrust laws in the area of news wire services?
UPI is basically a non-factor anymore… Reuters is not a U.S. company…
What was good for AT&T and Microsoft should be good for AP, right?
