FDA ban on raw oysters is stopped (for now)… The “nanny state” at least heard the message this time. Next time they’ll be more prepared with some people in wheelchairs to parade on TV

Such a simple rule to live by: Never eat oysters from the shell in a month that doesn’t contain the letter R.
I agree with Robert, but the general pratice holds true to “all fresh shellfish”, also point of fact, Crab fisermen never even leave the pier to fish for crab unless the month contains an R in it
Oysters go back and forth between being male and female.
