NY Times explains away” DHS Secretary N…

NY Times explains away DHS Secretary Napolitano’s assertion that “the system worked”, by comparing her remarks to George Bush. Who could have seen that coming.

I bet that makes the “Change” crowd happy to know that George Bush’s spirit lives on in DHS.

The dissimilarity between the airport security people missing a purposeful, planned terroristic act and Mr. Brown not handling the aftermath of a flood well is also a factor missing in the comparison between Napolitano’s remarks and those of George Bush. “Brownie” may have been haphazard in his handling of the federal response to Hurricane Katrina, but what government official in Louisiana (all of whom should have been more aware of the situation at hand) acted responsibly, intelligently or even logically? In contrast, it does not appear that ANY of the security people did their job even remotely up to par. All I can say is, this is the same caliber of employee who will soon be handling your HEALTH CARE!
