It’s December 30th, my health insurance bill to the state run health insurance system is due on January 1st, and not only haven’t they sent out a bill, the people on the phone don’t know the new rates and don’t know when they’ll know.
I can’t wait until the government is running everything
(I’m guessing part of the problem/issue is the pending Health Insurance legislation is going to affect the rates or even if the plan is offered)
Just a little preview of Obamacare…. The compassion of the IRS at the efficiency of the Post Office!
As a little side story: A friend of mine who is a dentist in a rural community has been fighting her state’s medicaid program to save the teeth of a 19 year old patient. Medicaid was assuming the patient was a meth addict when in fact she came from an abusive household and was never taught dental hygiene, she didn’t get her first tooth brush until about a year ago.
The Medicaid people were saying they were only obligated to provide a minimum standard of care to manage or mitigate pain, not the best level of care which means they would only pay for extraction of the teeth since it was cheaper.
Be careful people, you do not get something for free especially from the government.
There is no way that this program will save the citizens money on their health care and reduce the deficit without massive tax increases to anybody that has a job…
