RNC chairman Michael Steele – either fire me or shut up (said on ABC)… While the country is going through a critical time, mr Steele is guest hosting for Bill Bennett and on a book tour selling his book…. What is the job of the RNC chairman?

    I saw Steele on several television talks shows over the last two days…he seems to be using his post to promote his book. For every question he was asked, he prefaced his answer with, “As I said in my book…”
    Because he “doesn’t think the GOP is ready to lead”, he needs to go.

      He’s been on pretty much every radio show also, doing the “the answer is in my book” routine

    I have no objection to Michael Steele promoting his book, but when it comes to leadership, when will HE step up to the plate? I have yet to hear any specific policy stances or goals stated by Mr. Steele, and it’ s taken him nearly a year to acknowledge the Tea Party movement when the truth is they have been instrumental in putting the brakes on the Obama administration’s efforts.

    The republican party is like a zombie – it’s dead – just hasn’t accepted the fact. 1/2 way through Bush 43 – 1st term I became an independent: that second farm bill to buy off the slightly too-fey Tommy Daschle killed my patience. Stay tuned for Bush 3…. you gotta be kidding me, right?, right?
