WPGB’s player shows “Quinn in the Morning”, not “Quinn and Rose”…. mistake by the webmaster or hint of something else to come?

Before it was Quinn & Rose it was just Quinn, but I’m not sure if that predates the move to WPGB. Ahh, the days of Jim ranting between songs …

Rose was off the air For a long while suffering apparently with headphone deafness, leaving Quinn to fend for himself. Since being back, or maybe it’s the Obama effect, the Q&R chemistry seems to have diminished. It sounds now more like fighting for control of the microphone than cooperation…

I don’t listen everyday but when I do it seems Rose doesn’t show up for the first hour or so. And when she does it seems she trying to take over for the rest of the way.

Yeah, there was the hearing, maybe it’s more personal stuff. Didn’t she do a couple of Hannity’s radio shows over the break? Maybe she wants to go solo?

        As they say, stay tuned!

I didn’t hear her on Hannity, but did see someone mention that in a show topic… all of this is a bit odd – this station is really starting to dominate in Pittsburgh and wouldn’t be a place I would expect Clear Channel to be chopping out local talent…. but then again I don’t know how much $ they are paying them :)

Nothing wrong with their chemistry. They are best friends outside of the show. They go on worldly vacations together with their families, and watch eachothers dogs. While at WRRK it was always “Quinn in the Morning”. Now at WPGB it is more of Quinn than the music thrown in between his talks. Much better now. They added Rose to try to tame Jim a bit. Rose is the producer, so she does a lot of work on the information side of the show. Once she is done with that, she comes into the studio and chats. As for the pay, I have talked with them at think tanks at bars in the past, and they really don’t make that much.
