Are ALL the Cumulus stations playing the “Send Money to Haiti” begathon with Anderson Cooper tonight? They have pre-empted Savage on WCOA.

Well, apparently not ALL Cumulus Stations. I went to the Cumulus Website and Several of the affiliates are airing Savage.
Did Savage do a live show today or take the day off?
Live, but I heard a few repeat segments.
WCOA is in Pensacola Florida (the western Panhandle)
My guess is the telethon was carried in communities with a significant Haitian immigrant population to show the station cares. The Navy facilities based in Pensacola are also involved in the aid to Haiti (GITMO may live on as a refugee base for Haitian refugees)
I don’t think the Haitian pop is that big here (unless underground) and they only mobilized 2-3 dozen medical troops from NAS. WCOA probably carried the telethon for the heck of it.
Speaking of WCOA, if you listen much, you’re likely tired of hearing that commercial for the Gulf Coast Bear Patrol. I won’t claim to have a big part of it, but I have sorted a few teddy bears :)
