Isn’t nearly 2 years of unemployment “benefits” long enough? Geez, stop with the disincentives to work already.
And since Unemployment benefits are not taxable for Social Security benefits, this is pushing Social Security into deficit much sooner than expected. I would also guess that many people who are 62-65 are more likely to retire early rather than look for work if they get laid off in their 60s….
A Senator from Mass. voting with the Dems? Anyone astonished? I’m not.
He stated he voted for the Mass. (some say Mess) Health Care going in, so you knew he was leaning Left in the first place.
And do I have to say ANYTHING about the 2 from Maine? Someone should sue them to force them to give up the R behind their name.
