4 dead in mass shooting in Buffalo, NY

http://abcnews.go.com/US/man-celebrating-year-anniversary-killed-buffalo-restaurant-massacre/story?id=11401904

The suspect is named Keith Johnson.   The shooting happened at a “wedding anniversary” that was going on at 2:30 AM.  Media reports couldn’t seem to find a mug shot, a driver’s license picture or the subject being taking to jail – and don’t indicate that he is a potential member of the Tea Party movement, so it is fairly safe to assume that…  so the blackwashing continues….

Well, now the cops say they got the wrong guy.

I heard that this morning when I woke up. It’s an easy mistake to make.

There were 100+ people in the bar/restaurant and nobody will talk to the police. Go figure. Look for a retaliation shooting in the next day or so. That’s so much more effective than police and trials and that bogus European stuff.

WBEN in Buffalo now has the audio of the police radio traffic during the incident online.

Near the end, there are clues to how the original suspect was targeted. A woman on a cell phone called in and said she saw a man on foot who had come from the City Grill throwing away a gun near a church.

More details about the events – the national media has of course lost attention, since after all it was only black people who were killed:

The City Grill had been holding “private parties” for the past month or so – where a promoter takes $20 or so to get in – and 40% of the people (estimate in the story) are drug dealers flashing their money and looking for women.

The story attempts to separate the “Wedding Party” from the gangs of drug dealers. I find it hard to believe a group of people would go into a restaurant and see that activity and stay around until 2:30 am unless they were part of the “scene”. Calling it a Wedding Anniversary party makes it sound innocent and upright.

Mr Johnson was out on parole, and was IDed by people at the scene, and when they went to his house, the police discovered blood on his clothing. Drinking at a bar at 2:30 AM would not be consistent with the terms of his probation.
Not surprisingly, Associated PhotoshoPress is framing the Gun as the killer, not the person pulling the trigger. The news accounts mention these private parties often end in stabbings (The Knife did it!)

More than anything, the audio shows how ineffective 1960s era communications systems are during a significant emergency.

And being the judgmental person I am, I can’t help but notice that at the one year anniversary of being married, their baby is 7 months old.
