So when someone says something that is patently not true – you basically have two options. They didn’t know it was not true, or they know it is not true and they don’t care they are misleading people.
Rush just repeated the story that Mike Castle (running today in DE in the Republican primary) voted to support inpeaching George Bush. What he voted for was to “Refer it to committee” to make it go away. Republicans were trying to force the Dems to immediately debate the issue on the House Floor to make the Dems look foolish and/or have to take a recorded vote on impeachment. Castle voted to send the impeachment request to the Judiciary Committee where it died.

Mark Levin also clearly doesn’t understand the difference between Gross Sales and Net Income based on what I heard last night. Stick to Consitutional Law, please.
I dunno but the voters voted to “impeach” castle.
Impeachment is removal for office for committing a crime. Difference of political opinions are not a crime.
Art, please tell me that you know that I know this.
PS – Impeachment may result in removal, but in and of itself, impeachment is an arraignment of formal charges against public officials which can lead to removal and or other sanctions against the impeached person. Clinton was impeached, but not removed.
In another usage, to impeach is to show a person as unworthy of belief (as to impeach a witness at a trial). In that sense, Castle was indeed repudiated and impeached.
:) Yes, I was pretty sure you knew it. The problem is that people who read it may not. I’m working hard to keep from looking like Free Republic.
