Reworking show search – I’m thinking about redoing the way “search for show” works… right now it does a convoluted thing in the “What’s on now” format, showing you the list of programs that might match what you are looking for, and the show times.
What I’m thinking I should do is change it so the result of the search is a list of programs and their description (similar to what you see if you try to report “wrong program”), and then when you select the “right” program, it sends you to the radio-show.php page which shows all of the times/stations for that program.
Any objections? Any better ideas?
I also want to redesign the radio-show.php page. It was not really intended to be a central page to focus on, but the way Google works, most of the people arrive at that page, not the “what’s on now” page…. and it isn’t obvious that there is anything else in the web site. The page has a lot of empty white space, and looks pretty ugly. Now would be the time to suggest things for that page that aren’t there now or you can’t do…. :)
Hmm… let me get my creative juices flowing… I think I have some ideas…
Too late.
Bah! There’s always time for change… I’ll just save it for the next go-round.
Hope for change.
