I’m sure Jack’s family is grieving, and for that I would offer my condolences, but his disappearance from Capitol Hill is a great day for America. It’s just a crying shame that it had to come down to him dying.
I wonder if they’ll bother with a special election with less than a year before the next election. I assume they will, and if they do, this should be pretty fun to watch. I wonder if the Tea Partiers will be able to have an impact on this one…
Latest I heard is ‘Fast Eddie’ Rendell is thinking about having it on Primary Vote Day. Which I think is sometime in May.
Yeah, third Tuesday in May, which is the same day as school budget votes in New York. While it’d be a logical move, I don’t think Rendell can legally wait that long, though. It’d be about 100 days.

yeah, i knew somebody who was about 25 y.o. who lost a bunch of weight then had to be be hospitalized for gallbladder trouble…
