At first, yes.
I think this is just an interim product for 6 months to a year when 4G is widely deployed, so it can reasonbly do full motion video over wireless WiMax/LTE
I don’t think we’ve begun to think of the possible. Imagine a security guard carrying an iPad and remotely watching an intruder using a remote control camera as the guard approaches the place with the security breach. Of course that can work both ways. “flashmobs” are cute, but they’re really dry runs for anarchists to see how effective they can be at confusing and outrunning authority…
