So why was the nutcase in San Francisco angry about health care?
Assuming for the sake of argument that he has a shred of sanity, what about the health care bill could possibly have set him off? He’s living in subsidized public housing run by a Catholic charity. He’s living in an SRO, which is probably a small room with a bed and a hotplate and a shared bathroom.
With that background, it’s a pretty good guess he doesn’t have a job. He doesn’t run a business. He’s a welfare parasite with a criminal history involving welfare fraud, theft and harassment. He’s in his 40s and doesn’t have a wife or children to worry about…
Being on welfare or at least section 8, he’s qualified to be on Medicaid. He already gets his health care for free. He would not be required to buy health insurance because he already has it. He can’t be against socialism, since he’s Exhibit #1 for what socialism looks like.
Here is another detail – he made the phone calls using a device called a “Magic Jack” – a plugin device that allows making phone calls over the internet. The device lets you choose the area code your call appears to come from – he had borrowed the device from someone he knew, who ultimately identified him.
He’s believed by prosecutors to be bipolar.
The great part of this story – when the FBI showed up at his “house”, he denied being the person who made the phone calls. The FBI agent dialed the phone number of the “untraceable” Magic Jack that made the phone calls, the phone attached to his computer rang. Busted.
Despite his mother’s suspicions, the law enforcement officials have no evidence that he was inspired by Fox News. Just wait until the FCC gives free 100 Mb/sec internet access to every bipolor nutcase in America.
