Gee, Art, kind of a nebulous snark here. Would you like to be more specific or is this just wide-band trolling? :)

It helps to know that one of my big pet peeves is the use of the “so called” device to inject an opinion into a news story … Like a story may mention “the so called pro life movement”… It’s a pretty blunt hammer for the “objective journalist” to label and discredit something

The Fox Radio News broadcast at the top of the hour mentioned Sarah Palin speaking to the “so called” Tea Party gathering at Boston.

You could read that at least two ways – that there is no such thing as a real Tea Party movement or that the group in Boston was a fake version of the Tea Party movement.

Either way, I was sending up a flare to not get too heavily invested in Fox as the leader of any movement. The idea that Murdoch would be anti-Globalist or small government is unrealistic – it’s his network more than any other that stampeded the public into Iraq to “get those WMDs”

Regarding Dems not appearing on Fox, consider Br’er Rabbit appealing to not be thrown into the briar patch. By being dismissive of Fox, that just lures their opponents into the hands of another media conglomerate that supports the same ideas.

Despite what people may want to think, Progressives are not stupid.
