Boycott the boycotters? I’m thinking of boycotting radio stations located in markets that boycott Arizona. Thoughts?

I’m not sure that it will hurt them but I definetly, absolutely, wholeheartedly agree with the idea ! If an individual gets stopped by the police for an infraction of the law and they asked to see the individuals ID, and if during that orocess the police have reason to believe the individual might be here illegally then the individual should be detained until they can prove there citizenship. The “Real ID” acts of 2005 and 2008 REQUIRE states who issue ID cards and Driver Licenses to obtain citizenship information (i.e. Birth Certificates AND Social Security numbers or Immigration Staus and certification) before they issue those IDs. In most states it is in fact ILLEGAL for Adults to go in public without some form of Officially issued Picture ID. ANYTIME an officer has cause to interact with someone and they say they don’t have ID then automatically the officer knows there is something not right about the situation.

Sorry for the diatribe but this issue is very close to me and what I do.

Love it, Art! I agree, although I haven’t heard of any radio stations that are boycotting Arizona. Who are they?

I don’t think he is talking about radio stations, per se. It sounds like he wants to boycott stations located in MARKETS that have expressed negative opinions about Arizona – e.g. Highland Park, Illinois. That way, their advertisers will suffer for supporting illegal immigration.
