Egypt devolving

The Devolution is well along. Egypt is broke. 1000s of police are now filling the square wanting more money.

One of the country’s significant sources of income – expatriate egyptian workers in Libya has dried up. Any day now a few hundred thousand Libyan refugees will be arriving needing food and a place to stay.

The building that was (is?) the headquarters for the secret police is on fire again while the uniformed police watch it burn.

Egypt – Cease fire! With this kind of instability, the world can’t trust you to run the Suez Canal. Let’s turn the clock back to 1952 and give it back to England.

    Gee, I wonder what faction will pick up the pieces to help this country get stable?
