Power shift at Sirius/XM… Gary Parsons is out – he was the founder of XM. Replacing him is Eddy W. Hartenstein. Mr Hartenstein’s career traces back to DirecTV – which is the core holding of Liberty Media, the folks who saved Sirus/XM from bankruptcy with a last minute loan. With money comes strings. He assumes the role of chairman of the board, but will not be an executive working for the company day to day.
