Here is an idea… dissolve Afghanistan. Whack up the country and divide it among the rival ethnic groups and provide some protection while the different ethnic groups dis-integrate. Let Pakistan take control of Southern Afghanistan, the Tajiks join Tajikistan, etc…. Let them live in peace (or not)…
That would be a real test of whether or not bin Laden is still alive. I don’t think he is, but if he is, he’d show his face… for the first time in over 5 years…
