No new refineries in “x” years… Val…

No new refineries in “x” years… Valero announced it is permanently closing its Delaware refinery, following a similar announcement in New Jersey. In both cases, the explanation is low demand and not enough profit margin to make it worth doing. Valero will incur costs of over a Billion dollars to shut down the plant. Nobody else was interested in buying it.

Does the 550 jobs lost count against the new Green Jobs that the president is creating?

    Oh NO …..that counts TOWARDS the green jobs sinse these were”Evil Carbon based jobs.” Also these 550 jobs just might be included in the jobs created or saved list according to “ObamaMath.”

      Being in Delaware, I’m thinking Joe Biden will propose that the Government take over the refinery and create a Federal Government Oil company, since obviously mismanagement by the free enterprise system and greedy management is what caused this refinery to become unviable.
