NY Daily News thinks he is talking to Salem radio – they built out a major AM station in New York, but have no local anything…. And like a 0.1% market share

Or maybe John Gotti is hiring

Possibility B, one I think is more likely… Joe Scarborough gets the axe and Sliwa moves to midmornings. Joe’s already been cut from KABC and WMAL, the other major Citadel talkers.

Salem? They have almost no local programming unless someone pays for it. Kevin James at KRLA is an exception. I doubt they’d bump, say, Bill Bennett for a high-profile (and high-priced) local host such as Curtis. Now, if they can get Kuby to come back with him, WNYM might have a bit of a chance. But Salem knows that, for the most part, they’re non-players in the ratings. They make their money by selling their air time to pay-for-prayers.

I heard Sliwa on at night, on an AM box from Toms River, NJ, from Rochester, NY. It was after 10:30 PM. I would just google “curtis+sliwa streaming” or “Rochester+AM radio streaming sliwa”

It’s really unclear what is going on. Batchelor does the show through WABC’s facilities (I think he may actually be in California, though…) and then Citadel Media (formerly ABC Radio) was doing the synidcation of Sliwa and Batchelor. Sliwa is gone from WABC but supposedly will still be heard on the network without his home station. Sliwa is basically on about a dozen stations – but I can’t imagine anyone outside of the New York area cares to listen to his bamboozling and trickonology..

It’s also unclear if Batchelor’s weekday show is WABC only (I think that is the case) or whether he will also be in weekday syndication…

Keep in mind that many expect Citadel to file bankruptcy or otherwise “restructure” in the next month or so. This entire move may be related to moving costs around or preparing to split Citadel into pieces. It’s really hard to know what the end game is.
