Ronald Reagan isn’t Conservative enough for Michael Savage.
This is the first time I remember him making any comment about Reagan. The reason is because “Reagan destroyed the family farm“. I’m curious how he did that, and why that is a Conservative issue.. I understand given Michael Weiner’s pursuing the research of Charles Darwin and his mission to identify and preserve species of plants from the control of the pharmaceutical companies and agribusiness that this would make it an anti-Weiner position, but it’s FDR who created the ASCS and the price support programs to protect the family farm. Just yesterday I was reading how Reagan dismantled the peanut allotment program in 1981 which made it illegal to grow and sell peanuts unless you had Federal Government permission.
Savage made several references today to “sartre”

Sartre was a French philosopher who supported Commnism, refused to accept that Stalin committed genocide of his own population after WW2, admirer of Fidel Castro and opponent of the Vietnam war. He is exactly the type of person who Michael Weiner admired until his “Conservative conversion”
The allegation that Reagan “destroyed the family farm” is normally something that the liberals spout (many farmers vote Democrat) because he advocated cutting many of the subsidies that were being paid out. This led to many smaller farmers selling out to real estate developers (remember that interest rates came down under Reagan, leading to a housing boom) and corporate farms buying up small farmers who could not operate profitably without the government’s cash infusions.
