Senator Chris “Countrywide Mortgage” D…

Senator Chris “Countrywide Mortgage” Dodd has announced he won’t run for reelection. Does he think that means we have forgotten about his mortgage documents?

He certain does think he is a much better person than us lowly voters. It will be SO nice to see him have to live on his pension. I know he will just SQUEAK by each month.

Unfortunately, the guy who is going to try to replace him is our lawsuit happy Attorney General in Connecticut, DIck Blumenthal. He’s part of the group who think the collective 50 attorney generals are a 4th arm of the Federal government, suing Microsoft, the tobacco companies…. he has actively opposed building a LNG offloading facility in Long Island Sound, and an underwater electric cable to send electricity to/from Long Island, constantly trying to shut down nuclear power plants in the area, forcing power lines to be buried underground… none of which has anything to do with the legal business of the State of Connecticut…. and my area now has the 2nd highest electricity rates in the country, and it has driven most manufacturing out of the state. State Employees, Insurance companies and the ever growing State University system are the main employers. I’m pretty sure he has proposed or endorsed the idea of a millionaire’s tax to solve the state’s budget problems, which of course will just drive high income people like Glenn Beck out of the state.

Mrs McMahon looks to have a serious chance to actually win the seat as a Republican, which is probably why Senator Dodd is deep sixing his political career.
