Phil Hendrie almost died over the holidays – last night, Phil was back on the air. He was in the hospital for a week with pneumonia after oral antibiotics didn’t work. Phil has started to realize he is a mere mortal.
One interesting thing he mentioned was that being able to only have regular TV, he didn’t realize just how bad it has gotten and how oppressive the commercial load is. He’s grown used to using movies on demand and TiVo’ing the things he watches. Interesting since I think radio is giong to have the same issues very soon.
