Earl Warren was a Republican – in fact the man who would later become the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court was Dewey’s VP candidate when they ran and lost in 1948 against Harry Truman. But Warren was a Progressive…. this is exactly why Glenn Beck is urging people to pull off their Democratic / Republican blinders and start asking “Is this person a Progressive?”
